Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and forward Mohamed Salah appeared to have an irritated conversation with one another on the touchline during the frustrating 2-2 draw at West Ham on Saturday in the Premier League. The dropped points will almost certainly see Liverpool fail to lift the title this season, and Klopp would not be drawn on the subject of their disagreement.

Jurgen Klopp refused to discuss what happened during a heated exchange with Mohamed Salah before he was subbed on against West Ham in their 2-2 draw on Saturday.
At 2-2 Klopp, decided to bring on three substitutes, including Salah, with about 10 minutes remaining as they chased a winner.
With the Egyptian getting ready for his introduction on the touchline, Klopp leaned across and said something to the forward, to which Salah appeared to respond with an expression of frustration.
The pair continued their exchange before fellow sub Darwin Nunez shepherded his team-mate away from their manager.
Salah had started on the bench, perhaps to the surprise of many observers given he was Liverpool’s top scorer this season, albeit on a difficult run of form.
He has 24 goals for the club already this season but has been linked with a move away to the Saudi Pro League after he was subject of interest from the league last summer, and Klopp is also due to exit Anfield at the end of the season.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, Klopp said he was, “very disappointed, obviously. There was only one team who was going to win the game with all the chances we created. It was a tough one at the end of 10 days, four games.
“I thought the boys did really well. We just concede out of nothing, and need a few more chances
“2-1 up, we could control it, but the final situation we did not take in the right way. And it’s the story of the last four weeks.
“The boys gave everything, for some of them it was too hard today."
Moving on to the spat with Salah, Klopp was ready to put the matter to bed.
“No, we spoke already in the dressing room, that’s done,” he offered.

'He will be fuming' - Crouch addresses Salah spat, McCoist predicts exit

Former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch and ex-Rangers forward Ally McCoist were both concerned with the impact of the public disagreement.
Crouch said: “It didn’t look good. I can’t lip read, but it doesn’t look good for the club. Mo Salah is a player who has started the majority of the games for Liverpool.
“He will be fuming to be on the bench. Players like that, who expect to start, are never happy. Tension like that between players and manager, no one wants to see that.”
McCoist agreed, adding: “Particularly when you see Salah coming back to have another bite and his team-mate has to intervene. We’ve both been in dressing rooms where it happens, you don’t agree with the manager. But that kind of stuff should be behind closed doors.”
He then suggested that time may have come for Salah and Liverpool to part ways, with both sides benefiting from a transfer.
“He’s been one of the best players we’ve seen in the league. He’s been fantastic for Liverpool Football Club but his s form has dipped, I don’t think anyone could argue.
“It looks like he could be moving, and I think it could be one of the situations where it suits both parties. For Mo Salah to move on and Liverpool to reinvest the money they get for him.”
