Miller, who was taking part in his 135th World Cup race in a row Sunday on the legendary Austrian piste, told reporters that was thinking about resting his knee for the Olympics:

"I"ve been thinking about skipping Garmisch, but I don"t know," said the New Hampshire native. "I will probably train and just relax."
"The priority right now is to make sure I have my equipment sorted out well in every event, so that I can race hard in every event. I still have some gaps now."
With few slalom specialists willing to brave the circuit's most treacherous downhill, Miller and Raich are among only 14 skiers in Sunday's field of 96 eligible for the combined win.
