Insurance problems that kept NBA star Luol Deng on the sidelines have now been resolved while Pops Mensah-Bonsu and Nate Reinking return to roster after missing the final match in Tel Aviv.
"It definitely helped us to play three pretty tough teams," said Finch.
"They all had different styles, which was good for us, and we managed to use a lot of the younger players.
"We played pretty well, and although we had mixed results, we found out a lot about ourselves and it was a really worthwhile trip.
"We're fit and ready to go now. Our goal is to win the group and get through to Lithuania next summer.
"It's going to be really difficult, but we feel we have a good chance to win the group and get to the finals again."
Great Britain reached the EuroBasket finals last year but crashed out in the group stages, although they pushed eventual champions Spain close.
Hungary should be brushed aside but Finch is warning against complacency ahead of their opening match in Szolnok.
"I don't think Hungary get the credit they deserve" he added.
"They have some very good players who are experienced at international level. They're playing in some pretty good leagues, and to open at home is always a boost. They're pretty formidable opposition."
