The Italy marksman was on target this week as the Old Lady put in a consummate display to see off Celtic and move into the quarter-finals, where no one will want to meet them.
Defender Leonardo Bonucci and midfield duo Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal make up the rest of the Juve contingent and they are joined by a trio of Borussia Dortmund players after the Bundesliga side put in another imperious display.
Felipe Santana, Marco Reus and Mario Goetze all make our elite XI after helping down Shakhtar Donetsk in convincing style.
Real Madrid's Diego Lopez, having kept Manchester United at bay, takes his place in between the sticks, while team-mate Luka Modric - scorer of a crucial goal at Old Trafford - is in midfield.
Paris St-Germain hitman Ezequiel Lavezzi joins Quagliarella in attack while Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson completes the line-up.
Formation: 3-5-2
Team of the Week March 7 2013
(Expert rating in brackets)
GK: Diego Lopez - Real Madrid
After a shaky start the reserve keeper made a string of top saves as Manchester United tried in vain to overhaul Madrid at Old Trafford. (8)
DF: Leonardo Bonucci - Juventus
With a three-goal lead to protect after the first leg, it was always going to be about Juve's defence on the night. Helped secure a fifth straight Champions League clean sheet. (8)
DF: Kelvin Wilson - Celtic
Stood out at the back on what was always going to be a difficult night for the Hoops. Has impressed in this season's campaign against some of Europe's finest attacks in Barcelona and Juve. (8)
DF: Felipe Santana - Borussia Dortmund
Rose majestically to power home a header at one end while helping keep a clean sheet at the other in a sterling display. (7)
CM: Paul Pogba - Juventus
Gave another reminder to Manchester United of what they're missing out on with another assured display in midfield. Caused a few problems in the Celtic box. (7)
CM: Arturo Vidal - Juventus
Put Juve's second on a plate for Quagliarella with a selfless ball across goal and controlled the midfield area, especially in the second half at Juventus Stadium. (7)
AMR: Luka Modric - Real Madrid
As far as impact substitutions go, the Croat's introduction was right up there with the best. Came on in the aftermath of Nani's red card and soon pulled Madrid level with a beauty of a strike. (7)
AMC: Mario Goetze - Borussia Dortmund
Showed again why he is regarded as one of the hottest talents in European football with a goal and an assist. (8)
AML: Marco Reus - Borussia Dortmund
Looked dangerous all night long and could have capped a glorious evening for the Bundesliga side with a sensational goal when he skipped past four defenders but fizzed a shot just wide. (7)
FW: Fabio Quagliarella - Juventus
The Italians had no reason to leave second gear with a 3-0 first-leg advantage, but the striker insisted on putting in a dynamic performance to help ensure zero shocks in Turin. Claimed a goal and an assist for his troubles. (9)
FW: Ezequiel Lavezzi - Paris St Germain
Worked tirelessly all night and got his reward with a somewhat fortuitous strike to help his team book a place in the last eight. (7)
