Negredo is up high to head over at the far post but he's taking a ride on the back of Ramos and it's a clear foul.

Alexis managed to make the block whilst already grounded. A goal looked an absolute certainty there.

SITTER! Real have missed the easiest of chances. Ronaldo goes around Palop but the ball gets caught up in his feet. The Portuguese star tries to tee up Ozil but that only complicates matters and, with the goal gaping, the Germany international's shot eventually ends up getting blocked. How did that not go in?

Ramos crosses to Marcelo who produces a brilliant backheel into the path of Ozil on the edge of the box. The German gets his finish all wrong and scuffs it well wide.

Marcelo chances his arm from long range after the ball comes back off the referee but it's no threat to Palop's goal.

Ronaldo then has a tame shot which trickles through to Palop.

Ronaldo has been quite quiet and he can't get a cross to di Maria as Palop cuts it out.

Navas squeezes in a cross that is comfortably cleared by Albiol. Navas is then flagged offside and time is starting to run out.
