Ellie Roebuck says it is the "perfect time" to move to Barcelona after signing a two-year deal with the Spanish club. She has brought an end to her nine-year spell at Manchester City, where she came through the academy before breaking into the senior squad. Keeper Roebuck has 11 England caps and was part of Sarina Wiegman's Euro 2022-winning squad.

England keeper Ellie Roebuck has joined Barcelona on a free transfer following the expiry of her contract at Manchester City.
She has agreed a deal to keep her at the Spanish club until the summer of 2026.
Roebuck spent nine years at Manchester City, where she progressed from the youth team into the senior squad.
As well as winning the Women’s Super League title in 2016, Roebuck leaves City with medals from three FA Cup wins and three League Cup triumphs.
As she joins the European champions - who beat Lyon to win the UEFA Women’s Champions League in May - Roebuck will be greeted by familiar faces at Barcelona.
Former Manchester City players Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh - who also play for the Lionesses - have been in Catalonia for the last two seasons.
On securing her move, Roebuck said: “I am very excited. I'd been waiting for this chance for a long time. I'm very happy to be here. You could say that now everything fits and this was the perfect time to come.
“I want to test myself and live a new experience. There's nowhere better to do that than here, so I'm really grateful to get this opportunity.
“I like to play with the ball at my feet and this is the perfect team to do that with. I enjoy possession and playing out from the back, so I hope to contribute my style."
It has been a busy period of transfer activity for Barcelona, with Polish striker Ewa Pajor arriving on a three-year deal from Wolfsburg.
