Kylian Mbappe's facial injury is getting "better every day", and the striker is "raring to go" for France's final group match against Poland, boss Didier Deschamps said on Monday. Mbappe suffered a broken nose in France's opening match against Austria, and was an unused substitute as Les Bleus played out a goalless draw with Netherlands in their second match of the tournament.

'We want to hit a different level' - Southgate looking for improvement from England

Kylian Mbappe is "raring to go" for France's final group match of Euro 2024 against Poland, coach Didier Deschamps has said.
France's attack was blunted as Mbappe remained an unused substitute throughout his side's second group game against Netherlands, after suffering a broken nose in their opener against Austria.
But the France boss said the facial injury is getting "better every day", and Mbappe will again be available for selection as France look to top Group D on Tuesday against Poland.
"It's better every day," Deschamps said on Monday. "He was in our training sessions. The bruise has gone down a lot. He's getting used to the mask.
"He wants to play, he's raring to go. He wanted to play against the Netherlands and he wants to play tomorrow."
Deschamps suggested Mbappe may be restricted due to playing in a mask.
"No problems with breathing but the way he sees yes," Deschamps said. "For those who play with a mask, it's not a constraint but it does limit your vision. He wears it because he needs to protect his face in certain incidents that could occur."
Mbappe was key in unlocking Austria's defence in their opening match of the tournament, flashing a fierce cross into the box which Maximilian Wober could only head into his own net in what turned out to be the only goal of the game.
France's attacking impetus appeared seriously diminished in their second match of the tournament, as they took a point from a goalless draw with Netherlands.
Deschamps said Mbappe's levels in training have remained unaltered, despite having to sport a mask.
"To be honest, I forgot that he was wearing a mask [in training]," Deschamps said. "He was great, decisive, dangerous - he played really well in the training session.
"I hope that will reflect on the pitch tomorrow."
Deschamps added, however, that he had yet to get "the go-ahead from the medical team" with regard to selecting his starting line-up.
"I need to chat with different players, let's say," Deschamps said.
France sit second in the group on goal difference, but are guaranteed a spot in the last 16 ahead of the clash with Poland.
