The European Championship is now well underway as the qualified sides from the continent meet in Germany to decide the winner of the 2024 tournament.
The tournament kicked off on June 14 as hosts Germany thumped Scotland 5-1, with the final a month later, on July 14, at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
This is the first tournament since Euro 2020, held across Europe before the final between Italy and England at Wembley Stadium, with Roberto Mancini's side winning the penalty shootout.
That event took place in 2021, delayed for a year in response to the Covid-19 pandemic which led to various delays and cancellations of sporting occasions.
With the tournament well underway into matchday one we look at how many teams will be in Germany to compete.

For now, Euro 2028 is also expected to have 24 teams in the final group stages but this is not yet confirmed.
