Albania vs Spain live: Updates as minnows attempt to upset three-time champions at Euro 2024

A corner comes into the box from the Spain right and the Albania goalkeeper flaps at it, punching straight into the path of Olmo. He clips a ball towards the far post - and it's not really a shot or a cross in the end, and ultimately floats wide

And moments later, another cross, this time from the left, is met by Joselu, but the striker heads way off target. He should have done better there, given he was unmarked

There's the first chance of the game. A terrific cross is floated in from Jesus Navas on the right and Mikel Merino meets it, but the goalkeeper is equal to his header, making a smart stop down to his right

After Albania came out the blocks hard, Spain are beginning to dictate the tempo now. They are dominating possession and playing in the way they do best - patiently passing the ball around and trying to pick an opening to exploit

There's also an early corner for Albania, although it ultimately amounts to nothing. Spain on the other hand are just beginning to get into it
