It all came from a Modric free kick being easily dealt with, but Josip Juranovic saves the day with an excellent recovery challenge.

Croatia have won two but lost three of their last five competitive games. This is as many defeats as they had suffered across their previous 29 games in competitive action combined (W16 D10).

Albania have won just one of their last 10 games when locking horns with a country for the very first time (D5 L4). That solitary success was a 3-1 triumph versus Faroe Islands in June last year.
