MAIGNAN QUICKLY OFF HIS LINE
Lewandowski with strapping on a thigh muscle, but has not lacked movement today as he tries to beat the French offside trap. Mike Maignan races from his line to collect in front of Lewa.

TIME FOR A WATER BREAK
The sun is beating down in blistering Dortmund. No wonder there is a water break. Much, much needed as Mbappe can take off his mask for a quick breather then its back to business.

AUSTRIA ENJOYING THEIR DAY OUT IN BERLIN
The Dutch could be facing England in the last 16 if the results stay the same here. Long way to go though.

FRANCE CONTINUE TO SEEK OUT WIDTH
Jan Bednarek with an excellent piece of defending to knock the ball behind from the Barcola cross. Keeper Skorupski is then off his line to gather the corner from Dembele. Game racing along in the heat.

SALIBA WITH A HEADED CLEARANCE
A couple of fine crosses by Poland with Nicola Zalewski very much to the fore, but then Zalewski is booked for tugging back Mbappe as he looked to break at speed from a Poland corner. Clear foul.

KANTE SHOWS HIS QUALITY
Carries the ball towards the Poland box with real menace before slipping in Dembele, but his shot at the target is well saved by Skorupski. Excellent save to deny France the lead.

MODER IN THE MOOD FOR POLAND
The Poles not passive after France made a quick start on the ball. Very fine response as Jakub Moder thumps a shot well over from distance. Always leaning back when he unloaded the shot.

LEWA LUCKY TO AVOID A BOOKING
Was a clever foul to stop France breaking quickly as Robert Lewandowski chopped down Maignan, but doesn't attract a booking. Fortunate.
14'
POLAND GOING VERY DIRECT
Sebastian Szymanski charging into the French box, but he is blocked by Hernández before Urbanski reacts quickest to the corner, but his shot is straight into the arms of Maignan. That was a real chance, but not taken.

SHOCK TROOPS AUSTRIA WINNING GROUP D
As it stands, but that could change quickly as a powerful hit by Théo Hernández is stopped by Lukasz Skorupski in the Poland goal. His first save of the day is a timely one.

GOAL! AUSTRIA LEAD NETHERLANDS!
You can't say Austria don't deserve it but a very strange goal as Prass looks to square to a team mate in the box and Malen looking to track back slides in and divert it inside the near post. Full live here:

POLAND COME TO LIFE
Plenty of French possession, but Poland show they aren't here to make up the numbers as an effort from Piotr Zielinski is stopped by Mike Maignan in the French goal.

POSITIVE START BY FRANCE
Bradley Barcola with some exciting wing play. Forces Poland to clear for a corner, but the delivery by Ousmane Dembélé has no takers in the box. Was crying out for a header as it flies straight out of play on the other side.

FRANCE STRAIGHT ON THE ATTACK
Polish team being pushed back right away. Back three has quickly become a back five with France warming to the occasion in the sunshine. So, so comfortable on the ball with Zalewski late on Koundé.

WHAT WILL ROBERT BRING TO THE PARTY?
Difficult to think we may not see the magnificent Robert Lewandowski at another major finals for Poland after tonight. Never say never, but at the age of 35 with 151 national caps, these major tournaments do not come about too often. He'll be looking to fire Poland to a first Euro 2024 victory this evening.

SOME CLASSIC KYLIAN FOR YOU
Fair to say, Poland won't fancy facing the man in the mask if French icon Kylian Mbappe can find his scoring form in Dortmund tonight. Was such a big miss for France in the 0-0 draw with the Dutch.
