THAT WAS A REALLY FUN MATCH
Netherlands deserved their win, having score the more goals, but also having created enough decent chances to expect a more comfortable victory than they managed. They're almost definitely through, while Poland will probably need something against Austria, who they meet on Friday.

IT'S ABSOLUTELY HAMMERING DOWN NOW
But here's Zalewski from 25 yards, taking aim, firing ... and Verbruggen does enough, parrying into the air, collecting, and that's all she wrote!

POLAND HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS
And we zoom in on Lewandowski, who must be feeling intense aggravation. Poland could really do with him back for their next game, against Austria - if they don't win that, they're almost definitely going home - but chances are it won't be until France, in the final round of group games, that he'll be available.

WEGHORST GIVES IT AWAY
And Moder collects, waving foot at ball from 20 yards ... but Vergruggen who's been solid, dives to save.

WE'LL HAVE FIVE ADDITIONAL MINUTES
This isn't over yet.

PIOTROWSKI BARGES THROUGH REIJNDERS AND OPENS BODY!
He punches a square pass into the path of Swiderski, who arrives on to it nicely, but he can't find sufficient power in his strike and Verburggen turns away, Piotrowski unable to forces in from the narrowest of angles.

HE'S NOT BEEN ON LONG
But Frimpong has also made a difference, stretching the play. He really should be starting.

YOU'VE GOT TO FEEL FOR POLAND
They've played well. But real talk, Holland have had made enough chances to win a couple of games, so what can you do.

ABSOLUTE MAYHAM IN THE DUTCH END
Bouncing, singing, kissing, the usual. I didn't see that coming, I must say, but get ball and strikers into the box, things can happen.

GOAL!! POLAND 1-2 NETHERLANDS (WEGHORST) AND THERE HE IS! This is so, so simple! Ake, allowed to run, slides a pass into the box and Bednarek extends a leg, the ball flicking off it and arriving perfectly into Weghorst's pass. And of course the arch finisher doesn't miss, turning a punchy-enough finish inside the near post and just under Szczesny's dive! The goal-machine has won it for Netherlands!

I DUNNO
To me, Frimpong is not someone you toss on with nine and change to go; he needs time to work the opportunities to explode. Weghorst, OK, the ball might break to him, or he might win a header, but the Leverkusen man needs to play a longer game.

TWO FURTHER CHANGES FOR NETHERLANDS
Frimpong and Weghorst for Gakpo and Depay.

I CANNOT, THOUGH
Find a photo of his frankly outrageous check tweed three-piece.

POLAND WIN A CORNER DOWN THE RIGHT
They look so well-drilled, compact and confident; Probierz only took over as manager in September, and has done a tremendous job.

CHANGE FOR POLAND
Piotrowski for Zielinski. The armband goes to Szczesny.

NETHERLANDS KNOCK IT ABOUT
But slowly, almost as if they're gathering for a final sustained assault. If they draw this, a win over Austria should take them through however their match against France goes, but that's a lot of pressure for a young side to handle.

GOOD DELIVERY FROM MEMPHIS
And around the penalty spot, De Vrij is up! But he can only head over the top! That's the best chance of the half so far.
