HEARTBREAK FOR SLOVENIA AS LUKA JOVIC SALVAGES LATE POINT
Luka Jovic's late equaliser snatched a point for Serbia in their Euro 2024 Group C clash as they came from behind to draw 1-1 with Slovenia in Munich.
Zan Karnicnik had opened the scoring for Slovenia midway through the second period as he arrived at the back post to tuck home and round off an excellent team move.
Matjaz Kek's side looked like they were going to cling on to a crucial three points but Luka Jovic's remarkable header from a corner in the 96th minute equalised for Serbia in the final action of the game.
It was another thrilling contest with both sides hitting the woodwork throughout the match and playing pulsating end-to-end football.
This result now leaves Slovenia on two points and Serbia just one point behind them as they head into their final group games.

FULL TIME: SLOVENIA 1-1 SERBIA
That incredible header from Jovic was the final moment of the game as Serbia snatch a late draw here in Munich. It's heartbreak for Slovenia who were all but qualified for the round of 16 if they had hung on there.
Jovic's strike cancelled out Karnicnik's opener earlier in the second period as he met Elsnik's cross after starting the move himself.
The result leaves Serbia on one point and Slovenia on two with just one game left to play in Group C. All eyes now on Denmark v England which kicks off at 17:00.

GOAL! SLOVENIA 1-1 SERBIA (Luka Jovic)
I don't believe it! Heartbreak for Slovenia and jubilation for Serbia. As the clock ticked over into added time of added time an inswinging corner came in from the right and Luka Jovic rose highest to direct a corner into the bottom left corner.

YELLOW CARDS FOR BOTH TEAMS
Gacinovic picks up a yellow card as he shoulder-barges a Slovenian defender looking to shield Oblak. Vipotnik then picks up a yellow card too for time-wasting.

5 MINUTES OF ADDED TIME
The fourth official confirms there will be five minutes of added time as David Brekalo comes on for Timi Max Elsnik.
Jovic picks up a yellow card as he shows his frustration at a Slovenia foul. The striker is then penalised for a high-foot as he tries the acrobatic finish. Carninik goes down holding his head but I'm not sure there was any contact.

NOW OR NEVER FOR SERBIA
Serbia need a goal here. As it stands Serbia would not be able to finish in the top two of the group and would be eliminated should Denmark beat England later on today.
Birmancevic's ball from the left is weak and bounces into the arms of Oblak. Mitrovic does superbly to win a corner down Serbia's left but it is headed clear.
88'
SLOVENIA HOLDING ON
Serbia have a free-kick in a dangerous position from the left that Birmancevic swings inwards towards the back post. It is heading for the top corner and requires Oblak to tip over rather unconvincingly. The corner is dealt with but is put behind for another.
Oblak punches clear but it drops to Ilic on the edge of the box whose rifled effort is blocked well by Stankovic.

MORE CHANGES AS SERBIA PUSH
Another two changes for Serbia now as Andrija Zivkovic and Dusan Tadic make way for Veljko Birmancevic and Lazar Samardzic.
Samardzic looks to make an immediate impact as he dribbles across from right to left as he goes on and on before finally letting fly with his left foot but it is dragged wide.
81'
KARNICNIK WANTS MORE
Karnicnik is full of confidence now and combines well with Sporar to create an opening from the edge of the box but he drags his effort slightly and it goes wide of the left post.
A really sloppy ball from Gacinovic down the other end on the left as he tries to slide a teammate in but no one was making the run and it's into the arms of Oblak.
77'
SERBIA PRESSING
Tadic is rashly brought down on the edge of the box and this is a real chance to put something dangerous into the box. It's an excellent inswinging ball from Tadic that Milinkovic-Savic gets his head on to but it drifts just wide of the right post.
Two more substitutes for Slovenia as Petar Stojanovic and Benjamin Sesko are withdrawn for Benjamin Verbic and Zan Vipotnik.
72'
MITROVIC HITS THE BAR!
The ball comes in from the right and Mitrovic holds off Karnicnik to meet the ball on the half-volley but the Slovenian defender gets the smallest of touches on it to send it crashing onto the crossbar. Goal-scorer to goal-saver. Really well-taken effort from for the former Fulham man and incredibly unlucky with his effort surely goal-bound.
69'
GOAL! SLOVENIA 1-0 SERBIA (Karnicnik)
Karnicnik starts the move off as he brings the ball out for Slovenia. He switches the ball out to Elsnik on the left hand-side who delivers the cross to the back post where the right-back is arriving to strike home on the half-volley. It wasn't a clean effort but it was enough! Incredible moment for Slovenia, can they hold on or will Serbia find an answer?

SOFT PENALTY APPEAL
The ball drops to Mitrovic on the edge of the box but it just won't come down for him as he is forced into taking the volley but it spoons over. This is now the longest a game has gone so far in this year's Euros without a goal.
Stojanovic breaks into the Serbian box and falls over after a nudge from Pavlovic. The Slovenian is adamant he should have had a penalty but it would have been soft.
65'
CHANGES ALL ROUND
It's Serbia's turn to play it round the back as he both sides maybe look to take a breather after that frantic start to the half.
Changes for both sides as Jon Gorenc Stankovic comes on for Jan Mlakar for Slovenia. Meanwhile, it's a double change for Serbia as Sasa Lukic and and Dusan Vlahovic make way for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luka Jovic.
62'
SESKO FROM RANGE
Slovenia immediately counter down the other end through Sesko. The RB Leipzig forward cuts in onto his right foot and unleashes a curling effort from range bound for the top right corner that Rajkovic does well to turn behind. The following corner comes to nothing.
The game slows down for a moment through some Slovenia possession.
58'
TADIC PULLING THE STRINGS
Right-wing back Zivkovic wins the corner for Serbia after combining with Tadic. The captain's corner looks to be landing on the head of Sporar but Oblak intevenes with a solid punch.
Lukic combines well as he looks to break into the box but Cerin is able to clear the danger. Serbia come straight back though and Tadic finds himself with time in the box and he delays before pulling it back to Mitrovic who looked to have acres when Tadic first picked it up. Slovenia got men back though and were able to intercept.
56'
YELLOW CARD FOR LUKIC
Stojanovic puts it through the legs of Lukic who then leaves his body in the way for the Slovenia to run into. Free-kick and yellow card for the Fulham man.
Bijol directs his header goalwards but it doesn't have the legs to trouble Rajkovic. It's end-to-end stuff again with both sides picking up where they left off.
54'
MORE PRESSURE FROM SERBIA
A delightful cross from Tadic who finds Mitrovic once again but this time it's a headed effort from the striker that deflects off the defender and loops over. Oblak punches the subsequent corner clear. Tadic's resutling cross is not quite as good as his previous delivery.
Slovenia make it into the Serbian half for the first time since the interval as Sesko looks to be in on goal but Veljkovic comes across to impede the striker and concede the free-kick that comes to nothing.
49'
SERBIA'S BEST CHANCE
Mitrovic plays an excellent one-two with Tadic who slips the big striker in on goal but as he looks to chip it over the onrushing Oblak, the Slovenian keeper saves well and it is cleared away. Quick start from the Serbians, perhaps a strong word or two from Stojkovic at half-time.
So close again for Serbia as Bijol looks to clear an inswinging cross from the left with his right foot but gets it all wrong and it nearly defelects in but goes just wide for a corner.

BACK UNDERWAY
There is one change for Serbia at half-time as Mijat Gacinovic comes on for Filip Mladenovic who picked up a yellow card in that opening period.
Serbia get us underway for the second-half kicking from right to left. Will the deadlock be broken in the second-half?
