The travelling Benfica fans are in good voice now, jumping up and down and singing for their side, though the PSV fans are also in pretty good voice, despite the scoreline.

Benfica are retaining possession well and making PSV work hard to win the ball back. The home fans are beginning to leave in droves.

The posters are out calling for Guus Hiddink now. How the crowd would love the veteran Dutch coach to return to the club he led so successfully between 1987 and 1990, then again between 2002 and 2006.

Lens gets in behind the Benfica defence once again, he fires a ball back across goal, but Jardel is there at the near post to make the interception.

The score in Braga remains 0-0, so it's they who would go through at the expense of Kiev as things stand.

PSV's Europa League challenge seems to be rather fizzling out. Benfica are now looking solid in defence, and there's no way that they're about to concede four goals in the space of ten minutes.

Dzsudzsak with an excellent cross from the left...it somehow eludes Lens, then Berg, and eventually Benfica can scramble the ball clear!

Jardel with a fine interception as Labyad looked to play in Berg with a well-measured ball in behind the back four.

Martins now tries an ambitious volley from just outside the area, though he can't keep it down.

An untidy challenge from Peixoto gives PSV a free-kick 35 yards from goal in a central position. Dzsudzsak steps up...and draws a decent save from Roberto with a very well-struck shot!

PSV make a double-switch. Marcus Berg and Vukovic are on for Marcelo and Tamata.

Lens lets rip at the linesman after hauling down Coentrao. What on earth can he be complaining about? The linesman was one yard away, and was spot on with the decision!

As if to make Tamata feel better, Gaitan then slams a ridiculous left foot shot from a tight angle high into the stand behind the goal at the other end.

Dzsudzsak races down the left side, then plays in Tamata, who hammers his cross far too hard across goal. Chance wasted.

Aimar is on for Saviola for Benfica.

If Benfica see this one out, and it would need a minor miracle if they didn't, they would meet either Braga or Dynamo Kiev. That match is finely poised at 0-0 in the second leg, meaning that as things stand, Braga's away goal from the first leg would carry them through.

Marcelo gives away another free-kick and he really is on the verge of a second yellow card. He's living dangerously.

Cardozo steps up...and drills the ball straight down the middle as Isaksson dives away to the left. That should be enough to see Benfica safely into the next round, as PSV now need four.
