Hello and welcome to Eurosport UK's minute-by-minute coverage Stoke's Europa League play-off second leg against Swiss side FC Thun.

Stoke 3-0 FC Thun - From the corner there's a bit of a scramble in the box. It's eventually half cleared by the Thun defence, but only to Whelan, who is lurking just outside the area. He hits the ball hard and it swerves over the body of players in front of the goal and just under the crossbar to put this game truly to bed.

Walters gets his head onto a freekick slung into the box and it only just goes wide.

Clumsy challenge from Luthi as he clatters into Pugh. He picks up the first yellow card of the match for his troubles.

Shawcross massively underhits a backpass and Sorensen's clearance in deflected dangerously by Lezcano. Sloppy play from the young Englishman there.

Pugh nudges the ball into the feet of Jones, who miscontrols poorly and again gives the ball away.

Thun now have to score four goals to go through. They might as well go home now for all the threat they've been tonight so far.

GOAL! Stoke 2-0 FC Thun - Pennant again the provider! The winger whips in another brilliant ball from deep. Jones gets his head on it and powers a diving header under the Thun 'keeper, who really should have done better, but the Potters won't care.

Andrist goes for an unlikely attempt from about 40 yards as he spots Sorenson off his line, but it's easily claimed.

Pennant's freekick hits straight into the one man wall. Ghezal goes down holding his head following a challenge with Walters, but there was nothing in it and he looks to be ok.

Djukic seizes upon a ball played into the area. It's incessant Stoke pressure now. Wilkinson gets to the ball first and Sanogo fouls the defender.

The Stoke fans are in full voice following that goal. Classic Stoke, brilliant atmosphere, set piece goal.

Upson gets above his marker at the backpost to bury a header into the roof of the net. The ball was whipped in expertly by Pennant, who has had a very good start to this game.

Pennant with a deflected cross into the area. Walters heads on and Jones miscontrols when in a good position.

Pennant feints and puts in a lovely curling cross to the backpost on his left foot. Jones gets high, but gets too much contact with the ball and heads it back past the far post.

Scneider plays the ball into Sanogo, but Upson comes across and calmly clears up.

Demiri plays the ball inside the fullback for Lezcano to chase, but he can only foul Wilkinson and it's a Stoke freekick.

Pennant cuts out a lofted pass. The ball makes its way to Whitehead, who appeals for a foul after going down about 30 yards from goal. It's not given, Thun break and Demiri fires off a woeful effort from miles out.

Pugh puts in the corner, but Djukic punches clear. A foul is eventually given after the usual tussling in the box.

Jones receives a chipped ball up the line, but Stoke patiently wait for an opening to occur. Walters swivels and clips a ball into the box, and it;s scrambled clear by the Thun defence for a corner.

Sanogo nips the ball off Jones and starts another passage of Thun possession, which they are pretty good at. It's their lack of pace that shows against Premiership opposition though.

Lezcano leads the charge at the Stoke defeence, but gives it away cheaply. Stoke then break back and Jones plays it out wide for Pennant, who's backpost cross is cleared away by the Swiss side.
