Thanks for joining me tonight, another fun evening of European football - but this time the Spanish go through. A mini-Clasico final as Los Rojiblancos face Los Leones. I'll be back this weekend for some more live action, until then feel free to drop by on Twitter

And that is it! Atletico Madrid are in the final, where they will face Athletic Bilbao! Venga, vamos! The fight is all a distant memory as they shake hands while Atletico celebrate.

Albelda tries one from a long way out but blocked. Now Costa frees Mathieu, the keeper rushes out and he slides it past him but off the line! I think that was Miranda with the block! No, it was Godin.

Three minutes added on - surely that was how long the fight was? And there was a serious injury. Odd.

Guess what - Fernando Llorente has scored for Athletic Bilbao. All Spanish final it is!

Salvio with a mazy dribble but he runs out of space and ends up chipping it into Alves's arms.

All very muted at the Mestalla now. At least Valencia can return focus to coming third in La Liga and ensuring they avoid a nasty play-off against a German or English side.

Godin was very lucky to escape after clearly leading with the arm on Mathieu.

Mathieu goes down on the edge of the box but no foul and Aduriz shunts a defender to the turf and he will be booked. Juanfran is down.

Tino Costa with a fierce shot from range but well parried by Courtois!

Diego comes off, as he has a bit of a temper and is on a booking.

CORRECTION: The booking was NOT for Soldado but for Alba, for play-acting as Tiago didn't hit him. He did hit Soldado, however, hence the red card.

Back to the football and Valencia lay camp outside the Atletico box - remember, three goals would do it and they have around 15 minutes including stoppage time!

Okay, so Alba went down but it was Soldado Tiago had slapped. He didn't go down, Alba did. Soldado is booked for getting involved and the result is no penalty! The ref overrules his linesman, he saw it correctly! Oh Tiago, you foolish man!

Tiago is sent off! He will miss the final! What an idiot!

Jordi Alba went down holding his head, I think Tiago gave him what is known as the slap of the female dog. Simeone is on the pitch trying to calm his men down, it's all very silly. Handbags on the Quayside.

Well both Tiago and Costa had their arms up - and Tiago is sure Costa handled! I think he did you know. And it's all kicking off, someone's hit the deck claiming a punch...

PENALTY VALENCIA! Tiago handled, the ref didn't see it but Valencia clearly did and so did the assistant. He flagged it and it's a penalty.

ATLETICO SUB: Salvio on for Turan.

Alba a bit late on Juanfran, but his Spain mate gets up quickly and the ref lets it lie.
