Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of Northern Ireland v Slovenia, in Group C of Euro 2012 qualifying.

Slovenia put together a nice spell of possession. The visitors are starting to settle now. Brecko sends over a good cross, and Camp comes to claim it.

Novakovic is caught by the Northern Ireland offside trap. First flag of the evening.

Brunt baloons another poor corner over everybody in the box. Almost as if the ball is acting up.

Corry Evans sends over a good cross and the Slovenian goalkeeper nervously concedes a corner under pressure.

Feeney has taken an early knock to the head, and is now smothered in vaseline.

Ilicic tries one from distance, and Camp sloppily concedes a corner. Ilicic gets another chance for a shot...it's blocked. The ball comes out to Suler, and his effort draws a save.

First corner of the match, and it goes to Northern Ireland. Brunt clears everybody in the box, and McAuley can't get a cross in when he reaches it on the opposite flank.

Ilicic with some neat work on the right for Slovenia, but Camp is on hand to gather his cross.

McCann flicks on another Jonny Evans throw, level with the penalty area. Slovenia clear.

WIth Italy already six points clear at the top of Group C, the chasing pack will be eyeing the runners-up spot. Aside from the Faroe Islands, it's there for the taking. Can Northern Ireland make a statement of intent tonight?

Northern Ireland are currently fifth in the six-team group, but a victory tonight could potentially lift them to second - the position currently occupied by Slovenia. The Irish won 1-0 in Slovenia back in September 2010, so there's reason for optimism.
