Llorente jumps high to challenge Codina to a cross from the left, but Getafe's keeper holds the ball well as he falls to the ground.

Free kick to Athletic, but they pass it back all the way to Iraizoz in goal - looks like they're happy to sit on the lead a little.

Getafe come up, Manu crosses from the left - straight into the arms of Iraizoz.

Gurpegui throws in, and Athletic have men forward here in a move that looks good until Javin Martinez's cross goes straight to Codina.

And now, to make things worse, the rain starts pouring just as Toquero's superb sliding tackle up-ends Manu.

The skiddy, wet pitch is proving a problem as Toquero fails to get to what looks a well-weighted pass to him wide on the left. The ball is just zipping off the surface tonight - tough conditions for the keepers.

Munain beats two men and is in the clear, but runs out of legs and ends up hitting a tired pass to Llorente that is easily intercepted. Still, this kid looks the real deal on the evidence so far.

It's a decent-looking ball in from Diaz, but there are no blue shirts at the far post and the ball goes off for a goal kick.

Lovely run through the centre by Gaizka Toquero and a nice final ball to Fernando Llorente, but Llorente takes too much time on the ball and is tackled.

A two-goal win for the hosts would leave these two sides level on points and goal difference in La Liga, but Athletic would leapfrog Getafe with more goals scored.

Great chance for Getafe as Victor Sanchez ends up in the clear cutting into the box at the right corner. It's a poor effort considering the chance, though, the midfielder dragging the ball wide.

17-year-old Iker Munain makes yet another lovely run up the left but his cross is misdirected and Getafe will hit on the break here...

The ball is delivered too long and Athletic gather it easily then hit on the break - but Susaeta can't get to a long pass before it skids off the soaking pitch.

Getafe get on the front foot and win a free kick 35 yards out - Albin will take.

Getafe's players looked shellshocked after that start - it's a big ask to come back from that away to Athletic.

A brief delay for the inevitable appeals following a soft penalty - it looked like mild shoulder-to-shoulder contact on the replay - but Mikel San Jose steps up and thumps home the spot kick into the bottom left corner.
