Demichelis stumbles, allowing Castro to take possession of the ball, but Betis can't work an opening and Malaga take the ball upfield.

Joaquin delivers a free-kick for Malaga but Molina heads away to Cazorla, who fails to test Casto.

Chance for Malaga! Cazorla picks out the marauding Gamez with a clever pass and his first-time effort fizzes wide of the near post.

Duda comes off for Malaga and is replaced by Nacho Camacho.

Gamez goes down clutching his leg after a clash with Calvente and the ref gestures for a stretcher. I'm not sure it is that serious though. There wasn't that much contact.

Ruben Castro wins a free-kick for Betis when being brought down by Cazorla. There wasn't a lot in it though.

This game has been a far more exciting prospect in the second half, hasn't it? Both sides have carved out decent chances.

Betis go close! Demichelis first produces a fine sliding challenge to take the ball away from Molina but Malaga quickyl cede possession again, allowing Pozuelo to curl a low effort just past the far post.
