Pepe with a big error as he fluffs a cross and kicks the ball against Ricardo Carvalho. However, Madrid manage to scramble the ball clear.

Zaragoza find space in the final third and Aranda meets a cross from the left unmarked. However, he is at full stretch and can't get the power he needs on his header.

Benzema sneaks in at the back post to try and volley home a cross but his marker does enough to put off the Frenchman.

It is Ronaldo who takes the set-piece and his firmly-struck effort flies about a metre wide. Not a bad hit.

Maurizio Lanzaro leads with his arm when leaping to challenge Ronaldo and gives away a free kick in a very dangerous area right in front of goal.

It looked only a matter of time before Madrid got back into this game. They have created a number of decent chances, even if they haven't been approaching anything like top gear.

GOAL! Real Madrid 1-1 Real Zaragoza! Kaka makes amends for his miss when drawing Madrid level. The Brazilian darted into a pocket of space to collect a pass from Xabi Alonso and opened up his body to direct his shot under Roberto.

Another chance for Kaka! Marcelo's cross to Ronaldo is deflected into the path of Kaka and he looks well placed to stroke the ball home, only to lose his footing and skew his shot wide.

Ronaldo in the thick of things again. Kaka pings in a cross from the left and as Ronaldo leaps he is caught off balance, sending his header off target as a result.

Ronaldo lets fly from range after Apono gives the ball away in midfield but his effort is blocked.

What a chance! Oezil swings in a cross, Kaka flicks it on with the back of his head and watches the ball fly inches past the far post. So close.

Javi Paredes goes into the book for a cynical foul on Granero.

For a second it looks as though Aranda has a clear run on goal after slipping away from his marker but the Zaragoza forward is rightly flagged offside.

Excellent work from Marcelo. He presses an opponent to win the ball back and then runs onto a Kaka pass to almost win a penalty. Roberto gets some of the ball so it is a corner and Zaragoza just manage to scramble the ball clear.

Oezil picks out Benzema with a square pass and the striker gets horrible contact with his attempted shot, spooning the ball up into the air.

Just to reiterate, La Liga's bottom club are currently winning at the home of leaders Real Madrid.

Pepe slips a pass through the middle of the park to Granero, who holds off his marker, shifts the ball out of his feet and lashes a shot narrowly off target from 20 yards out.

Granero hurls himself to the floor when looking for a penalty but no one is convinced.

Pepe tries a long ball through the middle to Ronaldo but it is easily cut out. The forward throws up his arms in frustration.
