Kanoute's deflected shot goes out for another corner and this is perfect for Sevilla. Sporting eventually break out though and one more chance as they win a free kick just ahead of the halfway line. It's chucked in, but there's an offside. It's all over and Sevilla perhaps just shaded it though Sporting made it a hard fought victory.

Sevilla are now happy to hold it in the corner. Rakitic is booked for time-wasting. He won't mind that though.

Navas goes for goal from a very tight angle, but he had no other options. He gets the second best outcome as he wins a corner to wind down more time.

Three minutes for Sporting to create one more chance...

Botia on the turn after mass confusion in the area, but he hits a bouncing ball inches wide! Terrible Sevilla defending and that should have been the equaliser. Varas may have got a touch.

Javi Varas comes off his line to rescue his team and hold on to a dangerous through ball. Sporting do have a dangerous freekick though...

Rakitic chucks the ball into the box. It's cleared. Trochowski picks the ball back up, drives across the area and slices a left footed effort wide.

Armenteros is blocked off by Lora and that's not a good move as it allows Sevilla to run down just more time.

Sporting Sub: Rivera off, Eguren on.

Sevilla are now playing possession football, frustrating Sporting. A dangerous, but effective game.

Lora with his second good ball of the night, but Varas this time reads it and steps out to catch it.

Long, hopeful, wasteful shot from Armenteros that flies nowhere near the goal.

Sevilla Sub: Medel is replaced by Fazio.

Trochowski with the high boot and Castro goes down to win the foul. Sporting with a late throw of the dice as Trejo is replaced by Moran.

Kanoute lays off and darts in behind. Rakitic plays the first time ball back in, but the defender just about holds the Frenchman off.

Medel's never scored for Sevilla and he doesn't change here. He makes good contact with his shot from 25 yards, but it's a couple of yards wide.

A nervy header goes behind for a Sporting corner. Kanoute thunders it away though at the near post.

This will be a stressful last 15 minutes for Sevilla as Sporting are pouring more and more forward.

Caceres is down injured this time and it looks to be his ankle. He's momentarily off the pitch.

Bilic throws himself at the cross, but his header is well wide. Sevilla make the substitution and Manu is replaced by Armenteros.
