A SORE ONE FOR SENAYA
Strasbourg defender Senaya has taken a blow to the side of the head and he’s got a bag of ice on it at the moment, hoping to avoid any significant swelling that might force him out of the game.
16'
THREAT FROM KOLO MUANI
The French forward is causing real problems out on the left hand side, and produces a lovely bit of skill to get away from his marker before almost picking out Mbappe with a cross that attempts to thread the needle.
14'
AN UNECESSARY PUNCH
A free-kick delivery into the PSG box is far too close to Donnarumma, who could catch the ball under no pressure, but opts for a wild punch clear instead.

VIEIRA PROWLS THE TOUCHLINE
Patrick Vieira, the Strasbourg boss, is looking pretty dapper this evening in a roll neck under a sports jacket. He’s set his team up almost as nicely as his ensemble too, inviting PSG on to them in order to free up space for his team’s pacey attacking players.

A CLEAR PATTERN TO THE GAME
PSG are playing high, pressing Strasbourg with their front three and committing numbers forward. But every time a blue shirt receives the ball they look to transition as quickly as possible, and you could really see them hurting PSG in the acres of space inside the visitors’ half.

MBAPPE MISSES FROM THE SPOT
It’s Mbappe who steps up with the spot-kick, but he fails to convert as Bellaarouch makes a brilliant save. PSG miss a huge opportunity to take an early lead, but has justice been done after that contentious decision to award the penalty in the first place?

PENALTY!
It’s end-to-end in Strasbourg as both teams counter in quick succession. Kolo Muani goes on a marauding run into the box and he’s fouled inside the box, with the referee pointing to the spot straight away. VAR will check it, as contact was light at best.

SHOULD BE 1-0
The ball breaks off a block and back to Dion, who’s just yards from goal and in space. But Donnarumma spreads himself way to make a save from point-blank range with his shoulder. What a huge let-off in the early seconds of the game for the league leaders.

STATE OF PLAY IN LIGUE 1
PSG go into this latest matchday with a comfortable six-point cushion over Nice at the top of the table, having lost just the one game all season.
They’ve been a little off colour of late, but are still on course to pull clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table if they can enjoy a decent run through February.
Strasbourg are firmly in mid-table, but will still have aspirations of pushing for the outer European qualification places if things go well in the second half of the campaign.

NO SOW FOR STRASBOURG
Guinea’s success at the AFCON is great news for the country but not so much for Strasbourg, who remain without the services of Saidou Sow.
There still no Gameiro, who is not yet fit enough to start.
19:30
TOO SOON FOR HAKIMI
Paris Saint-Germain have named a strong line-up for this tricky away fixture, with a front-three of Mbappe, Asensio and Kolo Muani being enough to worry any side.
But this match has come a little too soon for full-back Hakimi to be available after his exit from the Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco.
