Newcastle lift the ball long to Best, who heads left to Lovenkrands, who lays the ball back to Best. Best hits a limp left-foot shot wide of the near post, but that's nice build-up play from the visitors

That was a difficult chance for Best, but he would've hoped to hit the target, at least.

He should've hit the target at the very least there, but Gardner leathered the ball a couple of yards wide.

The players are clearly struggling in the conditions at the moment. Ferguson tries to pick out Martins on the left wing, but the ball skids off the surface and Martins is offside anyway

Coloccini tries to pick out Best inside the Birmingham penalty area, but Martin Jiranek comes across with a lovely sliding tackle to clear the ball

Ferguson picks out Carr on the right wing, who sends a hopeful ball forwards to Zigic on the edge of the Newcastle area

Simpson mis-hits a clearance, which is sliced straight back to Harper who holds onto the ball. The crowd say backpass, Lee Mason says play on

Both players go off, before coming straight back on. Birmingham regain possession from the drop-ball and we're back underway at St Andrews!
