It is a week since IFAB said goal-line technology is coming closer and closer but it hasn't come soon enough for Mark Hughes, who was left furious on the touchline.

A terrible decision! Clint Hill gets his head to a corner from Joey Barton and it goes about a foot over the line before Adam Bogdan gets his wrist to it and turns it onto the underside of the bar. It's clearly a goal but the linesman doesn't spot it. Shocking officiating.

QPR hit the bar! A lovely passing move from QPR around the Bolton box and Cisse chips a pass out to Zamora, who first delays and then hammers a firm left-footed effort against the woodwork from an angle.

Bolton head clear from Barton's delivery and QPR break through Ngog, who sees a cross-field pass to Petrov cut out easily.

Wright-Phillips turns the ball square to Barton following a deflected cross from Cisse and the midfielder's shot is deflected behind for a corner by Ricketts.

Miyaichi's cross is turned behind by Hill for a corner. The Japanese youngster delivers the corner and Anton Ferdinand is forced to head behind when David Wheater connects with the cross. The second corner is cleared by Barton.

Steinsson commits a rather messy foul on Shaun Wright-Phillips as the somewhat gritty nature of this game continues.

Now Mark Davies accelerates into space and slips in Ngog, who produces a weak effort that causes Paddy Kenny no problem in the QPR goal.

The first attempt of the game goes to Ngog. He does superbly to take a pass from Miyaichi and dink it round his marker to get into the box, but drags his shot well, well wide.

Sam Ricketts plays a pass 10 yards to Tim Ream but puts the ball straight out of play. Very poor, but QPR can't capitalise as an attack peters out.

Diakite already guilty of a messy challenge on Miyaichi as he brings the winger down. No booking this time though.

Darren Pratley gets in behind the defence to collect a clever pass from Steinsson but can't pick out a Bolton shirt with his cross. The Trotters then win a throw on the opposite side of the pitch.

One player capable of supplying quality is young Japanese winger Ryo Miyaichi, on loan at Bolton from Arsenal. He slips a pass square and then attempts to pick up the return down the line but Clint Hill comes across to intercept.

As Joey Barton hoofs the ball 50 yards down the pitch, this game has already taken on a rather joyless nature. Let's hope we see some quality on display.

David Ngog wrestles the ball off Onuoha in the final third but after playing a short pass to Martin Petrov he is in an offside position when receiving the ball back.

Onuoha, again, gets his head to the ball and clears. As QPR race up the other end, Djibril Cisse puts Gretar Steinsson under pressure but Bolton win the goal kick.

Nigel Reo-Coker darts into the box to collect a pass from Mark Davies and wins a corner off Shaun Derry. An early chance for Bolton and Nedum Onuoha clears behind for another corner.
