On the opening day of the season, Bolton hammered QPR 4-0 at Loftus Road. Things look a lot gloomier now though. Injuries have taken their toll on Owen Coyle's squad but they have also played some poor football on the way and have now lost four in a row.

This, of course, is a huge game at the bottom of the table. Bolton are currently 19th, with 20 points from 27 games, while QPR are only two points above them in 16th. Rangers have won just two of nine games under new manager Mark Hughes and

Bolton stick with Adam Bogdan in goal despite the fact Jussi Jaaskelainen is fit and on the bench, while Ivan Klasnic and Chris Eagles are unable to get into the starting XI. However, Marcos Alonso has not returned following the death of his grandfather. Adel Taarabt does not make it for QPR, who give another chance to Diakite after his debut - a 1-0 home defeat to Fulham - was ended after 33 minutes by a red card.

Some early team news filters in and Bolton make one change as Martin Petrov comes in for Zat Knight. Meanwhile, QPR bring Djibril Cisse and Samba Diakite back into their starting line-up following the end of their suspensions.
