Fluid forward movement from Fulham and Ruiz plays it short into the box to Dempsey. He makes a fool of Johnson before gliding one onto the crossbar! That would have been every bit the spectacular finish that Henderson's almost was in the first half.

Downing displays his energy reserve against the tired legs of the Fulham defenders and wins another corner for the visitors. Once again, the Whites deal with it.

Enrique does well to cut out a dinked ball down the right from Murphy to trigger a run from the overlapping Kelly.
