Again Suarez goes down, he looks like he's actually clipped this time but he made a meal and a half of it.

Suarez goes down like a ton of bricks from a Hangeland challenge but the ref tells him to get up.

Adam with a neat diagonal pass all the way to Carroll who has a sight of goal but is forced by his marker to nod it back to Henderson, square to Suarez... who fires wide!

Hangeland heads a Johnson cross out of the path of Carroll. At the other end moments later, Dempsey has a 20-yarder closed down. Great tempo here.

A third Liverpool corner now, and again they're unable to score direct from it but they retain possession through Henderson... who embarks on a great run... and what a chip that is! Off the post! That would have been a spectacular opening goal!

The corner is cleared and Suarez's break attempt is in turn cut out by Etuhu.

Bellamy fouls Dembele in the centre circle. After Fulham work the free-kick forward, the Belgian's through pass looking for Zamora is deflected behind for the hosts' first corner.

Second corner for Liverpool now, or at least after the referee Kevin Friend chastises Agger and Senderos for getting too physical in the danger zone.
