FULL TIME. Two defensive errors prevent Liverpool from getting a win at home to champions Manchester City. They deserved all three points.

Allen - who deserves three points today - tries his luck from range but sees his effort float over the bar. That should be that.

Late, late into the game now and when the ball bounces out to Tevez from a corner his bobbling effort dribbles wide.

Johnson spots a gap 20 yards from goal but his low effort is easily claimed by Hart. Both sides are looking for the winner.

Dzeko's first touch is neat as he spins away from his man in the box but on the turn he fires the ball high over the bar. A poor shot, ultimately.

Glen Johnson drives into the box and Kolarov is guilty of a clumsy challenge as he fells the Liverpool defender from behind. The referee is unmoved though, despite the protests from the home supporters and players.
