West Ham manage to push the hosts back and O'Neil wins an important challenge down the left. The hosts work the ball in field and Adam finds himself in space but his volley beats Jaaskelainen only to come back off the crossbar.

Wilson strides forward but his shot is always rising.

Stoke pumping the ball long here but West Ham remain stout. Collins has been superb and he heads clear.

Stoke break with Wilkinson and Adam but the latter’s attempted cross is wayward as it drops over the crossbar.

Reid is down following a stray hand from Jones but there doesn't look to be much wrong with him as the crowd show their displeasure at the referee's decision to stop play.

Instead of shooting, he lofts it into the box but West Ham scramble it clear.

Reid fouls Crouch some thirty yards out from goal. Adam over it.

Lightening break from West Ham. Vaz Te finds Collison whose shot is blocked but the goalscorer manages to stab the rebound to Vaz Te but he comes back inside Begovic and into to trouble allowing Nzonzi to clear.

That’s a pretty menacing front four from Stoke – Jones, Crouch, Jerome and Shea. Adam now comes on to supply the ball as he replaces Whelan.

Walters gets to a ball before Jaaskelainen down the left-hand side of the West Ham box as the keeper does well to put the breaks on. The hosts can’t get the ball back out of the corner though and the move comes to an end.
