Sandro and Dempsey play keep ball in the centre, then Vertonghen also joins in. Patient build-up play from the home side.
28'
Enrique scampers down the left, but his pull-back is to no-one on the edge of the box and Tottenham are able to clear.
27'
Suarez has a chance on the edge of the box, but Lloris is able to save at the second attempt. However, the Uruguayan perhaps had Enrique in a better position.
26'
Gerrard puts in Downing down the left, but the cross just evades Suarez at the far post. Better from Liverpool.
25'
Johnson tries a volley which is blocked by Dawson, who clears to the halfway line.
24'
Agger screams at Downing, who is playing Lennon onside as the rest of the Liverpool defence steps up.
23'
Lennon tries to cross from the right, but Bale manages to keep the overhit ball in on the left. However, his cross is over Dempsey, Defoe and Sandro.
22'
Sterling tries to make something for Liverpool down the flanks, but Gallas is across to block.
21'
Another mistake from Liverpool, as Dembele nicks the ball off Allen but his shot is well over.
20'
Bale comes in from the left, and finds Defoe, but his shot is wide. Tottenham are realy on top at White Hart Lane.
18'
Rodgers comes off the bench to shout at his team. He needs to peg back the Tottenham threat, with Sterling having to help his full-back.
16'
Suarez wins a corner for Liverpool, but it comes to nothing.
15'
Liverpool look unable to cope with the speed of the Tottenham midfield. Sandro is completely mugging Henderson.

GOAL: Tottenham make it 2-0, as Bale hits a free-kick that flicks off the hapless Henderson and past Reina. It is the first time he has scored three matches in a row, and it is 6 goals from 10 for Bale.

Henderson has a great chance to level, after Allen robs Defoe and Suarez feeds Luis Enrique down the left. Henderson had pretty much an open goal to aim at, as Lloris was in no-mans-land but Kyle Walker did well ro put the midfielder off.
12'
Tottenham defender Steven Caulker is ill, apparently, but he should be fit for the weekend.
10'
It has to be said, Liverpool left-back Downing did not cover himself in glory for the Tottenham goal.
9'
Tottenham have never lost a Premier League game when Lennon has scored.
8'
Luis Suarez almost pulls one back immediately for Liverpool with a snapshot that Lloris saves, and Sandro helps out his goalkeeper to clear.

GOAL: Bale drives from the halfway line down the left, and he skips past past Gerrard, Johnson and Allen, then gets the ball across to Lennon to tap home. As I predicted, a winger made the chance.
5'
Bale almost makes it three goals from three games, as Defoe robs a heavy-touched Steven Gerrard then puts in the Wales midfielder down the left. However, his shot flashes just wide.
