FULL-TIME - It ends 1-1 at the Britannia as Hughes and Stoke storm off furiously after having seen their 1-0 lead cancelled out late in stoppage time. GOAL! Baines tucks away the penalty very coolly and Everton look to have grabbed a share of the points in stoppage time against Stoke! It was a very stupid challenge from Pennant inside the box to trip up Osman, and Hughes was absolutely furious on the touchline!

PENALTY! Pennant trips up Osman inside the Stoke box and he receives a yellow card as Everton now have a chance to grab a point in stoppage time!

Four minutes will be added at the end of the second half as Everton pile on the pressure with Stoke defending for their lives very deep.

Naismith and Mirallas both have efforts cleared off the line as Stoke defend desperately at the death to hang on to their slender 1-0 lead! Everton are piling on the pressure.

Everton have a huge appeal for a penalty turned down as Osman drives a ball towards goal, only for it to strike Shawcross on the shoulder. No penalty, but it could have been one.

Both sides make another change now as Palacios comes on for Stoke, while Naismith is introduced for Everton with Lukaku going off. It's not been the big striker's best game.

Assaidi crosses from six yards on the left towards Crouch in the centre but he cannot control the ball and Everton scramble it away. Stoke are now preparing additional changes.

Hughes responds by hauling off Walters with Pennant coming on in his place.

Osman and Jelavic are now on for Everton as Martinez looks to inject some fresh legs and inspiration for his side.

Whelan is booked for a late challenge on Pienaar, but Everton are really struggling to respond to being a goal down with Stoke defending stubbornly.

Leon Osman looks poised to come on for Everton imminently and the visitors have really lacked any kind of a spark in the midfield so far today.

Oh dear, it's a horrible challenge! Shawcross jumps in two-footed and high as McCarthy goes down in a crumpled heap. That could easily have been worse if the ref had interpreted it differently.

Crouch knocks the ball down for Adam on the edge of the Everton box and he swivels before testing Howard with a clean strike! It's a comfortable save in the end.

GOAL! Oussama Assaidi puts Stoke in front with a clinical finish from the edge of the Everton box and Howard has to pick the ball out of his net within five minutes of the restart at the Britannia Stadium! It's a very fine finish from the Stoke man.

Butland is coming on for Sorensen for the second half as Hughes makes what must surely be an enforced change.

HALF-TIME - Both sets of players trudge off in the rain at the Britannia after what was a very poor first half. Neither side has created much and it's been a largely scrappy affair.
