Good afternoon and welcome. My name is Hayden Gribble and today I shall be bringing you all of the action in this Premier League opening day encounter between new-boys QPR and last season's FACup finalists, Hull City. Loftus Road will be packed to the rafters for what should be an open first game of the season.

MOTM - Despite a series of wobbles and being caught off his line a couple of times in the first half, Hull City keeper Allan McGregor more than made up for his mistakes with a fine penalty save late on in the second half and kept his back four in shape when they faced a late onslaught from a desperate QPR.

FULL TIME - QPR -1 HULL CITY. Handshakes all around as the full time whistle blows and the Tigers roar their way to all three points. James Chester's 52nd minute header was enough to see the Steve Bruce's men leave Loftus Road with the win.

A tide of blue and white shirts pour forward on every occasion they can but they just can't find away through! McGregor does well to take it off the toe of Remy as the R's become more and more desperate.
89'
There will be FIVE (yes, count them, FIVE!) additional minutes.
87'
It's backs to the walls stuff now for Hull! Remy gets an inch of space in the box and turns to strike, but his shot is blocked by Davies and he is unable to connect with the rebound. What have the R's got left to give?
85'
MISSED! Austin looks focused as he steps up to take the penalty but McGregor is equal to it and dives the right way to scramble the low, tame spot kick away! Hull City's bench goes nuts!
83'
PENALTY! James Chester has his head in his hands as the referee gives a spot kick for handball...but the goalscorer had his arm down by his side! Scandalous!
81'
OFF THE LINE! Ferdinand nearly makes up for his error in the Hull goal as he fails to make enough contact with a bouncing ball in the six-yard-box but Huddlestone hooks the goalbound effort away.
79'
Zamora makes his way onto the field as it looks like QPR are preparing to throw the kitchen sink at Hull, who have looked composed and assured in this half.
77'
Rangers wake up as Barton plays a lovely ball down field for Remy, who makes a diagonal run and holds the ball up for Austin in the middle. However, the Frenchman decides to go it alone and is eventually closed down by Davies.
75'
Zamora is preparing to make his bow as we enter the final fifteen minutes of the game. Can he be the heroes for Harry Redknapp's men again?
74'
CLOSE! Hull attack again and again QPR fail to deal with another troublesome corner. The ball falls to the feet of Jelavic at the back post, but his half volley is blocked by Dunne who sees it out for a corner.
73'
Despite being the brightest player on the pitch in the opening 45, Remy has gone missing in this half. The creativity from Mutch and Austin has also been extinguished by a slicker Hull team than the one we saw before the break.
71'
Steve Bruce's men are beginning to probe the R's back four as Huddlestone fizzes a cross towards Green's back post, but the former England International had to claw it away for a corner.

OUCH! Richard Dunne clatters into Jelavic and sees yellow for his troubles. That tackle summed up QPR's frustrations right now.
67'
A good cross from Quinn on the left brings the Hoops keeper, Green, off his line to collect the loose ball. The R's have really lost their spark after that goal from Chester.

64'
INCE GOES CLOSE! Quinn breaks forward and edges up to the box before laying it off for Tom Ince, whose tame low effort is parried away by Green. It should be two-nil to Hull!
61'
We have only half an hour left in this game and it is so comfortable for Hull City at the moment. They have regained their composure on the ball and are making the hosts chase their shadows.
60'
Remy has barely touched the ball in this second half but is hauled down by McShane on the right for a free-kick but Barton's delivery is poor.
