Liverpool v Fulham LIVE - Mohamed Salah gives Reds the lead

Much of the pre-match talk from Liverpool has concerned Jurgen Klopp and his comments about referee Paul Tierney, the man in black for the Reds' last match. "We won a football game 4-3 in a spectacular manner and the only headlines were about me and I really regret that, it's not necessary and it is not how it should be," Klopp admitted.

Klopp had claimed the way Tierney acted spoke to him when issuing a yellow card was "not okay" and that the official is "against" Liverpool.

In a slightly more conciliatory tone yesterday, Klopp said he "should not have said a couple of things, but lying was not involved". The German has now been charged with improper conduct by the FA.

Fulham are unbeaten in the last three meetings between these clubs, with one win and two draws. That win came when Fulham last visited Anfield as Mario Lemina scored the only goal of the game.

Marco Silva makes five changes to his Fulham starting line-up, several enforced. Willian is among the new faces and will play opposite Harry Wilson, once of Liverpool.

Aleksandr Mitrovic is still suspended. Andreas Pereira and Tim Ream will not play again this season after suffering broken bones.

Captain Jordan Henderson, Darwin Nunez and Kostas come into the Liverpool side, with ex-Fulham man Harvey Elliott, Cody Gakpo and Andy Robertson dropping to the bench. Diogo Jota, the match-winner against Tottenham Hotspur, is fit enough to join them there.
