A HAPPY HAMMER AT THE EMIRATES
Tomás Soucek with the key opening goal for the visitors, who charge down another Arsenal free-kick after Jesus was fouled. Not going their way so far tonight.

WEST HAM COMFORTABLE SITTING IN
Arsenal playing the ball in front of the blue shirts in the opposition half. Very well drilled so far as Trossard is robbed of the ball before Bowen makes a fine dart up the line to carry West Ham forward.

LIKE A CLASSIC EUROPEAN GAME
West Ham using their UEFA Europa League tactics to keep matters tight and hit on the counter attack. Emerson showing his quality with the cross at the opening goal, and is happy to carry the game to the home side on the break.

ARSENAL LOOKING FOR QUICK RESPONSE
Saka trying to pick out Trossard, but the move is shut down quickly by the visiting side, who look to break at pace to the other end. Mohammed Kudus showing some real quality on the counter attack for the Hammers.
15'
A DELAY IN THE MATCH
Nobody can come to a decision quickly on this one. Been frozen for two or three minutes since that ball hit the net. And the goal is going to stand. Because there was no conclusive evidence the ball was over the line and out of play. A 1-0 lead for the visitors.

GOAL FOR WEST HAM! (SOUCEK)
Well, would you believe this. Tomás Soucek thumps a volley into the corner of the gaping net from the Bowen cutback. Home defence all over the show. Was that ball out? VAR will take a look. West Ham fans in party mood.

Really getting behind the home side as West Ham do well to head clear a corner from the Martinelli flick on at near post. Hammers trying to get a passing game going.

WEST HAM BEING PUSHED BACK

GUNNERS HOLD UPPER HAND ON HAMMERS
Arsenal have won 12 of the past 13 Premier League matches at home against West Ham, the only minor setback being a 2-0 defeat on the opening weekend in 2015.
It was a rare success for West Ham, who have only won two of their past 30 matches against their London rivals with six draws and 22 defeats not exactly an enviable record.
Arsenal wlll go back top with a home win, while West Ham can move above Manchester United into sixth spot if they pick up three points.

DAVID MOYES ON REUNION WITH DECLAN RICE
"We’re all pleased for Declan Rice," said the West Ham manager. "No one ever doubted his ability and, while we won’t be cheering him on against us on Thursday evening, we’re always looking out for him.
"I said right from the start that I thought Declan Rice was a top player and I thought his value could have been greater. We got the price we wanted though, and Dec got the move he wanted, so it was a move that worked for both parties.
"I think Declan would make any team more mature and improve any team in the Premier League so I think their current levels are partially to do with him right now.
"From our standpoint, we had to go again and it can make you stronger and make you grow. In many ways, that’s what we’ve done. We’ve had to go out and find new players, who we thought could help us, and I think we’ve done it well."
