WATKINS DISCUSSES ENGLAND, GOAL TARGET AND THAT SOLO STRIKE
“The goal came at a crucial time and gave the team a bit more calm," Watkins told Sky Sports after his strike 16 minutes from time ended West Ham's hopes of a comeback.
“I like to run into the grass down the left especially. I feel like that’s my game when I’m one-v-one with the centre back, that’s what I want, then it’s up to me.”
Asked about his targets for the season, he added: “To score over 20 goals and go to the Euros with England, those are my goals.”

THE EMERY EFFECT
TWO-GOAL DOUGLAS LUIZ ON THAT FISHING CELEBRATION
"When I got to Brazil, I always go fishing. This celebration is for my friends and my Dad... I am really good! (at fishing)."
Luiz was joined in a post-match chat on Sky Sports with teammate Leon Bailey, who spoke about his impact in scoring off the bench.
"The team spirit is great, whether you start or come in. Even the ones who come off the bench... I did that today with a great goal and I'm very happy with that."
Asked about what Villa can achieve this season, he added: "The sky's the limit for us. But we just move on to next game. We have to focus on what's next and in front of us."

LUIZ AND WATKINS STAR AS VILLA RUN RAMPANT AT HOME ONCE AGAIN
Two-goal Douglas Luiz continued his Villa Park hot-streak and Ollie Watkins was also on target as Aston Villa moved up to fifth spot in the Premier League with a 4-1 victory over West Ham.
Brazilian midfielder, Luiz capped a dominant first-half from Unai Emery’s men when he fizzed a 20-yard shot into the bottom corner on the half hour mark to score for the sixth top-flight game in a row on home turf.
Luiz then doubled his tally following the interval when he coolly fired in a clinical 52-minute spot-kick.
Jarrod Bowen gave the visitors hope with a heavily-deflected shot soon after before Watkins put the game beyond doubt with a stunning solo attempt 16 minutes from time.
Substitute Leon Bailey then added a fourth in the final minute to rub salt in the visitors’ wounds.
The result means Villa have now won 11 Premier League home matches on the spin and sit just two points off the summit. West Ham are five points further back in ninth spot.
