Giovinco stays at Parma

Parma have paid three million euros for 50 per cent of the rights to Sebastian Giovinco after his successful loan from Juventus last season.

The Italian winger, 24, scored seven goals in 30 Serie A games and is effectively now a Parma player, although Juve would get half of any future transfer fee if the Gialloblu do not take up the option to complete a full buyout.

"We officially announce to our fans that we have bought 50% of the sporting rights of Giovinco," Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi said.

"I believe this is a great move for Parma."
