Jovetic suffers injury

The Montenegro forward will require an operation after damaging the anterior cruciate ligament and collateral ligament of his right knee during pre-season preparations, said the Serie A club.

Fiorentina claimed they turned down a £25million bid last week for Jovetic with Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City all linked to the player.

Jovetic scored five times in six games in last season's Champions League, including both goals in a 2-0 win over Liverpool.
