A ball rolls along the touchline for ages, with Roma thinking it would roll out. Pisano gets there, but his cross isn't great.

Osvaldo's bombing up and down the left, this time intercepting in defence. A cross from the right trickles ouit and it's a goal kick for Roma.

It comes to nothing...but Roma work the ball back out wide and from the cross Osvaldo heads back across towards the far post and Agazzi claims at a stretch.

Poor pass from Rosi, but Roma get it back and Bojan scurries down the right touchline. Agostini intercepts, but it's a freekick.

Cagliari have a throw in near the Roma byline. Nainggolan is caught offside when he really shouldn't be.

Conti's sticking to Totti, not letting him an inch of space.

Angel with a vicious shot from 30 yards. It's down the 'keeper's throat and he can only palm it away.

Solid start from the away team. They're having their fair share of midfield possession and look incisive going forward.

Nene has a shot from a tight angle from about 20 yards. It's a good effort, it sails a yard or so wide with Stekelenburg motionless.

Totti plays a beautiful ball in behind for Osvaldo, whose pace takes him to the ball, but he can't beat the first man.

Cagliari get a corner, but it just givse Roma a chance to break. Pisano intercepts and it's a Roma throw.

Stekelenburg plays out to his fallback, but Cagliari are right on top of them. Roma work their way forward, but Osvaldo loses it just outside the area.

Totti is playing deep here at the moment, getting on the ball and influencing the game.

Osvaldo jumps for the ball at the far post, but is outmuscled and it goes out for a throw in.
