Inter Milan vs Empoli live - Inter can leapfrog AC Milan into second in Serie A with a victory this evening

Inter Milan defended their Italian Supercoppa crown with a 3-0 win over arch-rivals AC Milan in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

Federico Dimarco opened the scoring in the first ten minutes, with Edin Dzeko doubling the lead after 21 minutes. In the second half World Cup winner Lautaro Martinez rounded off the win by scoring his team’s third.

The Inter Milan defender has recently rejected a new contract offer from the club so could be in for an interesting reception at the San Siro this evening.

Edin Dzeko is rested this evening with Joaquin Correa starting up front alongside Lautaro Martinez. Stefan de Vrij comes in for Francesco Acerbi. Romelu Lukaku is on the bench.
