THIS TIME GARNER HITS HIS SWITCH
He's tried a few. Coleman collects then, when the ball comes back to him as he inverts, he finds Calvert-Lewin, who slips to Danjuma outside him, and his shot is deflected behind; the corner comes to nothing.

THIS HAS BEEN POOR SO FAR
Neither side has found any fluency, Palace with their passing and Everton with their big switches.

EZE GROOVES AT ONANA
Slips down the side of him, and when an outstretched arm offers the chance to go down he takes it ... and is booked for diving. That's harsh.

TARKOWSKI PUMPS FORWARD
And Calvert-Lewin wins the flick-on, but there's no one anywhere near him.

I'M LOOKING FORWARD
To seeing how Amadou Onana does tonight. I've never been especially impressed, but better judges than me are fans, so whenever I watch him I'm hoping to see something. Ands he does well to track Eze and unload him close to the corner flag, winning a free-kick in the process.

MATETA PULLS LEFT AND BARRELS DOWN THE LINE
But McNeil - playing on the right tonight, to allow Danjuma the left - gets in the road.

IT'S MESSY SO FAR
Schlupp finds space down the left, looks for an early ball inside ... and it's cut out by Tarkowski.

ONANA WINS THE BALL OFF LERMA IN MIDFIELD
And though he does backwards, Danjuma is soon gambolling down the left, slinging over a cross that's too strong for those in the middle.

MATETA WINS THE BALL AND LAYS BACK FOR LERMA
Who drags a low shot that Virginia saves easily enough. He'll feel better for that.

ON WHICH POINT
If this finishes in a draw, there'll be a replay at Goodison.

PALACE HAVE BEEN PLAYING PRETTY WELL RECENTLY
I fancy them to get this done.

PALACE ARE WEARING A ONE-OFF KIT TONIGHT
They've only made 1000, with all profits going to their foundation.

MR ROY SPEAKS
He says Palace fans will be looking at Franca to do what Oliseh does, and he's capable. Dougie Freedman signed him for a reason, having watched him a fair bit, and after injury and acclimatising, he's ready to go.

JARRAD BRANTHWAITE
Looks a real prospect. Keane is a real Dyche player, so the fact he's being kept out of the side by someone aged just 21 is very telling. The Euros might come too early for him, but given England's dearth of quality centre-backs, I'd be thinking about giving him a go.

EZE
Is meant to be an absolutely lovely boy.

ONE OF THE GREAT PROS
I'm sure he'll break Big Nev's record, but big Nev won this pot twice...

WHERE IS THE GAME?
Palace will, I think, be looking to get Eze and Franca on the ball, so they can run at the Everton defence and slip passes down the sides of the centre-backs for Mateta attacking space in behind. Everton, meanwhile, will look to win the physical battle in midfield and have their wide players stick balls into the box for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
