MAN UTD CROSSES
Dalot whips in a lovely cross with the outside of his boot and it bounces in the area to cause the Wigan defence a moment of panic. Garnacho tries to bring it down but eventually Wigan clear their lines.
A frenetic pace so far! And this time Fernandes’ cross finds Hojlund, whose header loops into the air and is caught by Tickle.

REPLAY
Another replay of that save and you have to give credit to Onana, who dived to his right, made himself big, and actually saved it with his chest / side.

OPPRTUNITY MISSED?
The Wigan fans were already loud but that early chance has maintained that belief. The problem is, will they get a better chance all half? All match?!

BIG SAVE! BIG CHANCE!!
Wigan break down the right and a terrific cross from Godo picks out Aasgaard, whose attempt is saved by the legs of Onana.
A very early let-off for United!

HOME RECORD
Wigan have won four of their last six here despite the Latics sitting 18th in League One heading into the match.
That will give them belief.

WIGAN AND MAN UTD H2H
It’s a one-sided 18-1 record for United against Wigan, with all 19 matches taking place since 2005 – the year Wigan made the Premier League for the first time.
Wigan’s only win was in 2012 when their now head coach Shaun Maloney scored the winner, and it eventually proved costly for United as they lost the 2011-12 Premier League to Manchester City on goal difference.
The most recent meeting was in the FA Cup in 2017, when Marouane Fellaini, Chris Smalling, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Bastian Schweinsteiger all scored in a 4-0 fourth-round win.
