Silva wanted by Bayern

Bayern Munich are preparing a £50 million move for Manchester City's Bernardo Silva, according to the Daily Star.
Silva has previously been linked with Barcelona, but it is the Bavarian giants who are said to be most likely to acquire the services of the Portugal international should he decide to leave the Etihad.
"Bayern Munich are interested in Manchester City ace Bernardo Silva," notes the outlet.
"The Portuguese maestro, 29, has a £50 million buy-out clause in his Etihad contract, which still has two years to run. And big-spending Bayern are set to trigger that with a summer bid and test the resolve of City to keep Silva and, likewise, the playmaker’s desire to stay in Manchester.
"Although the Bundesliga outfit have already grabbed French winger Michael Olise from Crystal Palace - after matching his £60m release clause at Selhurst Park - they remain keen on Silva.
"Silva, a £43.5m signing from Monaco in July 2017, is still happy in England and seemingly in no hurry to exit. However, a fresh challenge in Germany with one of Europe’s elite clubs may appeal at this stage of his career.
"While Bayern are unlikely to be the only ones chasing his signature, they definitely hold the edge currently. Barcelona have been long-term admirers but are struggling to raise the necessary cash, while Spanish rivals Real Madrid appear to have decided they have more pressing transfer priorities."

Premier League clubs target Kimmich

Joshua Kimmich could make a move to the Premier League this summer, but Manchester United are not thought to be in the race for the Bayern Munich midfielder's signature.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are linked with Kimmich, while the Germany international is reportedly not interested in joining the Red Devils.
"Joshua Kimmich remains in contention for a Premier League move this summer, but Manchester United won't be in the mix unless the German has changed his stance," reads a report in the Mirror.
"The 29-year-old, who is part of Germany's Euro 2024 squad, has just 12 months left on his contract with Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga club are understood to be open to a sale, with the former RB Leipzig man not expected to sign a new deal in Bavaria.
"According to Sky Deutschland (via Sport Witness), Arsenal and Liverpool are among five clubs monitoring Kimmich with a view to a potential summer move. Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been mentioned, while Manchester City - another to be linked with a move in the past - aren't thought to be out of the picture.
"Those were the clubs also linked in March, with reports at the time suggesting Kimmich wasn't interested in fellow Premier League sides United or Chelsea. However, there is still a chance the German could stay put for another year."

Man Utd 'closing in' on Zirkzee

Manchester United are said to be "closing in" on the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.
That is according to a report in the Daily Express, which claims the Dutchman could become United's first signing of the Ineos era.
Zirkzee scored 12 goals in 37 appearances last season.
The outlet reports: "Manchester United are closing in on a £34 million deal for Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee after his agent, Kia Joorabchian, derailed AC Milan's pursuit, according to reports. Zirkzee could become the first signing of the Ineos era amid complications with multiple centre-back targets at the start of the summer transfer window.
"United are said to have identified a striker alongside a centre-back and central midfielder as their priority positions to address this summer.
And Zirkzee appears to have been pinpointed at the top of the striker shortlist ahead of the expiry of Anthony Martial's contract on July 1.
"According to i Sport, United are nearing Zirkzee's signature after Milan started searching for alternative options.
"Talks are said to have begun with the 23-year-old's agent, who has agreed to demand a lower fee from United than Milan due to his strained relationship with the latter."
