Chelsea are looking at Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran and Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams after missing out on Michael Olise, while Galatasaray could swoop for Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Elsewhere, Newcastle are confident of striking a deal for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Real Madrid veteran Nacho could leave Real Madrid this summer ahead of a move to the SPL.

Chelsea target Duran and Williams

After moving on from Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise, who is set for a transfer to Bayern Munich, the Mirror suggests Chelsea want two other players.
The paper reports that Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao and Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran are the next targets.
The story states: “Chelsea want to bring in two attacking signings - on top of Omari Kellyman - after withdrawing their interest in Michael Olise.
“The Blues were exploring a big-money deal for the Frenchman, who they tried to land last August, before eventually deciding the total financial outlay of the package including transfer and agent fees plus wages was too steep.
“Bayern Munich have since pounced and are set to land Olise in a deal worth up to £50 million. However, Chelsea remain in the market for forward players and the arrivals of a new striker and winger are among the topics at the top of Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart's transfer agenda.
“Interest in Spain starlet Nico Williams remains strong and while meeting his release clause, thought to be worth in the region of £50m, would not be an issue, there is still concern surrounding his salary and whether - like Olise - the overall package is financially viable.
“A swoop for Jhon Duran remains a possibility after fruitful talks took place with Aston Villa over the £19m signing of 18-year-old attacking midfielder Kellyman and the £37.5m sale of Ian Maatsen which is set to be completed in the coming days.”

Galatasaray target Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is attracting interest from Turkish side Galatasaray.
The England full-back will be a free agent next summer, and The Sun reports United are open to selling.
The paper writes: “Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has emerged as a top transfer target for Galatasaray.
“The 26-year-old is about to enter the final year of his contract at Old Trafford but United could decide to offload him ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
“Club chiefs are open to offers for him, with a £17 million price tag set.
Wan-Bissaka is understood to be the Turkish side's top target this window.
“Galatasaray are willing to offer him a four-year contract.”

Newcastle close in on Calvert-lEWIN

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin appears to be getting close to a move to Newcastle this summer.
The England forward is likely to link up with Eddie Howe as talks to extend his deal beyond next season look set to fail.
The Telegraph reports: “Newcastle United are pushing ahead with a deal to sign Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin as they close in on one of their long-standing transfer targets.
“Telegraph Sport first revealed Newcastle’s interest in the striker back in the summer of 2021 and also reported last month that they were back in for the 27-year-old this summer.
“Calvert-Lewin only has one year left on his current contract and although Everton had opened talks to extend that deal, it seems the player is keen on the move to Tyneside.
“That is likely to force the Merseyside club, who have well-documented issues with Profit and Sustainability rules compliance, to sell the forward and Newcastle are in pole position should that happen.”

Nacho set for SPL switch

Real Madrid veteran Nacho appears close to a move to Saudi Arabian outfit Al Qadsiah.
The Spain defender, who is at the Euros in Germany at the moment, is out of contract this summer and free to move.
The Athletic states: “Real Madrid captain Nacho is set to join Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah.
“Nacho is out of contract at the end of this month and had been in advanced talks with fellow Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad before Al Qadsiah moved ahead.
“The 34-year-old defender, who is currently with Spain at the European Championship where he missed the last game with injury, is now expected to sign a contract of a minimum of two years with the club.
“There has as yet been no formal communication from Nacho to president Florentino Perez, Real Madrid said when contacted by The Athletic.”
