Kylian Mbappe has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid but the Paris Saint-Germain star is also attracting the interest of Manchester City, who are said to have met the 25-year-old's entourage. Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford has reportedly been identified as a replacement for Mbappe at PSG, and Chelsea could be “set to trigger” Victor Osimhen’s £111 million release clause at Napoli.

Man City meet Mbappe entourage

Manchester City are in the running to sign soon-to-be free agent Kylian Mbappe, according to a report.
Mbappe has reportedly informed Paris Saint-Germain that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, with his contract due to expire in the summer.
Real Madrid are strong favourites to land the France international, but the La Liga leaders could have a battle on their hands to capture his signature.
The Mirror writes: "Kylian Mbappe has been tipped to join Real Madrid when he leaves PSG in the summer, but his entourage have also met with figures at Manchester City.
"On Tuesday, the Frenchman informed the Parisian club of his intention to leave at the end of the season, when his contract will expire. By that point, his people had already met with people from the Etihad Stadium as he begins to explore his options ahead of next term.
"Los Blancos are very much seen as the favourites to land Mbappe's signature having held a long-term interest in the forward. But Spanish radio network Cadena SER has revealed that Madrid are unlikely to get a free run at the player, who will command huge wages."

Rashford on 'shortlist' to replace Mbappe at PSG

Marcus Rashford is on a “shortlist” to replace Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain, claims The Times.
PSG are in the market to replace the 25-year-old and, according to a report, Manchester United’s Rashford could be on their list of targets, despite the England international suffering an indifferent season at Old Trafford.
The outlet writes: "Paris Saint-Germain have included Marcus Rashford on a shortlist of potential replacements for Kylian Mbappe — who last week informed the French champions of his decision to leave this summer.
“Rashford, 26, has long been admired by PSG’s football adviser, Luis Campos, who has been tasked with spending the €200 million (£171 million) a year that losing Mbappe from the club’s wage bill will save to build a young team capable of securing the club’s first Champions League.
“PSG plan to sign one starting forward in the summer and will assess the team’s performances during the remainder of this campaign before choosing to invest in a player, such as Rashford, who is comfortable playing from Mbappe’s preferred left-wing starting position or a central striker.
"Victor Osimhen — who has a release clause of more than £100 million in his Napoli contract after agreeing improved terms with the Serie A club in December — is a strong option as a new number nine.”

Chelsea 'set to trigger' Osimhen's £111m release clause

Chelsea are reportedly “set to trigger” Victor Osimhen’s £111 million release clause at Napoli.
Osimhen has attracted the interest of many top clubs across in Europe, having helped Napoli to the Serie A title last season.
The Blues are said to be most keen on the Nigeria striker, with The Sun reporting that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are set to make their move.
The article reads: “Chelsea are set to trigger Napoli star Victor Osimhen's staggering release clause ahead of the summer transfer window.
“Osimhen, 25, has been the Blues' top target to boost manager Mauricio Pochettino's frontline next season for quite some time.
“According to transfer insider Rudy Galetti, the west Londoners are willing to meet the striker's whopping €130 million (£111m) asking price.
“In fact, Chelsea wish to "speed things up" in order to beat off interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
“The Premier League giants will soon meet up with Napoli officials to discuss a payment structure.”
