Manchester City missed out on clinching the title against rivals United last weekend but will have further opportunities each week. To finish the job this weekend would require them to beat Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday followed by an unlikely West Brom win at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Manchester United can wrap up a minimum fourth-place finish if they beat the Baggies and Chelsea drop points at Southampton. All the clubs who finish in the top four are guaranteed a place in the group stage of next season’s Champions League.
West Brom themselves could have their relegation confirmed with a defeat, but only if Swansea, Huddersfield and Crystal Palace all win their respective Saturday home games against Everton, Watford and Brighton.

Championship

Victory over Birmingham on Sunday would secure the title for Wolves as long as third-placed Cardiff, who have a game in hand, do not beat Norwich on Saturday. Promotion will be achieved before they kick off if Cardiff or second-placed Fulham – against Brentford – drop points.
Aston Villa can clinch a play-off place by beating Leeds on Friday evening.
Burton could be relegated if they lose to neighbours Derby and Birmingham and Bolton both win. Wanderers face fellow strugglers Barnsley at Oakwell.

League One

The third tier has an extra round of fixtures remaining but Bury will be relegated on Saturday unless they beat Northampton and Oldham lose to Gillingham.

League Two

Victory over fourth-placed Exeter would see Accrington promoted to League One.
Stanley and Luton have already clinched at least a play-off place and Wycombe can join them with victory at Yeovil, or if neither Mansfield nor Swindon better their result.

National League

Macclesfield will be crowned champions and return to the Football League if they better second-placed Tranmere’s result. Town host Leyton Orient in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off and will then be keenly watching Rovers’ clash with Aldershot.
Bottom club Guiseley face Solihull Moors knowing they will be relegated if they fail to at least match Woking’s result against Bromley.
Torquay, in 22nd, could also go if they lose to FC Halifax and Woking win. Even a draw would not be enough if Solihull and Maidstone also avoid defeat – the latter host in-form AFC Fylde.
Chester, in 23rd, are already down as they have too few games remaining to make up the 11-point gap to Woking.
