Olympic rowing legend Helen Glover is gearing up for a shot at her third gold medal in Paris 2024, headlining a Team GB rowing squad packed with promising talent. She has been selected in the women's four alongside Rebecca Shorten, Esme Booth, and Sam Redgrave. Team GB failed to win a rowing gold medal at the rearranged Tokyo Olympics in 2021, but are tipped for a medal rush in the French capital.

Helen Glover will shoot for a third Olympic gold medal after being named in Team GB's rowing squad for Paris 2024.
The 37-year-old, who sensationally came out of retirement for a second time in March 2023, will compete alongside two-time world medallist Rebecca Shorten, Esme Booth and Sam Redgrave in the women's four.
The quartet won gold at the European Championships in April.
Elsewhere, Tokyo 2020 silver medallist Tom Barras returns to the men's quadruple sculls, while Tom and Emily Ford - set to be Team GB's only brother and sister in Paris - also feature.
Glover won gold at London 2012 and Rio 2016 alongside Heather Stanning in the coxless pair before leaving the sport to start a family with wildlife presenter husband Steve Backshall.
Just 18 months after giving birth to twins, she made a remarkable comeback to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, finishing fourth alongside Polly Swann as she became the first Brit to row at the Games after childbirth.
"Selection for my fourth Games feels different because the first time I still had this disbelief that I was becoming an Olympian," said Glover, who has three children.
"A huge reason for aiming for Paris was thinking how great it will be to have my family there to watch and support me and being able to share all of this with them is so special.
On her team-mates, she added: "Our four has a very good mix of Rebecca’s experience and the new energy of Esme and Sam and I do really feel more emotional for them than myself, seeing them enjoy this for the first time and getting their first Olympic vest.
"I love celebrating other people, so seeing them have this experience today and witnessing them enjoying this for the first time is amazing. I’m so fortunate that I’ve rowed with the most phenomenal people throughout my career… It’s exactly the same here in our four and I’m really enjoying working with them."
In Tokyo, Team GB failed to win a gold medal in rowing for the first time since 1980.
However, they are tipped for a stunning resurgence in Paris, with statisticians Gracenote predicting five rowing golds for Britain in their latest Virtual Medal Table - with the women's four tipped for silver.
