Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to LIVE updates from the Autumn Internationals. We begin at the Millennium Stadium with Wales versus Australia.

FULL-TIME: Wales were almost always behind, but rarely out of the game. Their performance was a spirited one and they exploited Australian weakness in the scrum - but Australia were the better side and a nine-point margin of victory was about right.

Back with Australia but Drew Mitchell knocks forward and that - finally - is the end of a good game in Cardiff!

Crossfield kick for O'Connor is claimed by Harries and Wales try to run it again!

The ball is back with the Australians as we enter the last phase of the game.

Australia pick up a penalty as Cooper, Robinson and McCalman push into the 22 - they run it but lose possession.

Messy lineout and nobody claims it for Wales - Australia mount another attack.

Knock-on from Luke Burgess who has just come on for Genia - Wales have a scrum.

Wales try to run the ball out of their 22 and for the time being they're not getting very far.

Robinson breaks through for Australia and is held up by Bishop just when it looks as if Australia will run in their fourth try.

The game is being played in the Wales half, which makes for trouble.

Australia have a penalty here for the offside from 22 yards and it's straight for O'Connor. No mistakes, and the lead goes beyond a converted try.

The crowd are bellowing Wales on as it looks like Biggar is about to get on the end of a loose ball forward - but he's offside - not by much, but Williams chip forward (yes, Martyn Williams) nearly sets Biggar free!

And Biggar converts from point-blank range - Wales still alive!

No penalty try as Australia dig deep for the scrum - 'Use it' says Barnes and Richie Rees obliges - skimming past Cooper and going over!

The clock is stopped as Wales boss the scrum right on the edge of the Australia line - another penalty goes against Australia - and again - Barnes warns that one more will be a penalty try.

No try - Adam Jones was close, but not close enough. Scrum on five metres as Wales look to keep up their unexpected pressure.

Wales bear down on the line after a brave move - the crowd cheers as they think someone in the melee has grounded it - but it will go to a TV decision.
