Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to LIVE updates from the Autumn Internationals. We begin at the Millennium Stadium with Wales versus Australia.

Genia scrambles away with possession as the Australians win a scrum. All gold in these first few minutes.

Wales negotiate it and clear. Australia have a scrum.

Terrific kick from Cooper into the corner - Rees, whose throwing has not been assured, has a crucial one to start the half.

Away we go! No changes to report for either side.

Another huddle for the Australians who are again out on the field first. Wales now arrive on to the pitch.

HALF-TIME: Pocock's early try put the Aussies ahead but Jones' boot kept Wales in the game. Wales missed the chance to score two penalties when Jones missed regulation kicks. Jenkins was immense as Wales dominated the scrum, but you sense that everywhere else on the field Australia have the edge. An intriguing second half awaits us!

Australia have a penalty at the end of the half and opt to run it - Beale causes consternation and the Wallabies are advancing in numbers. Ashley-Cooper down int he middle, but Nathan Sharp latches on all too briefly and loses it forward. Out it goes - that's the end of the half!

Jones is 2 from 3 this afternoon - and now it's 2 from 4 - another kick which was well within range sails wide to the right.

No sign of a linebreak as Wales continue to press - Williams has to fashion something from a standing start but he succeeds, drawing a dangerous tackle from Quade Cooper. Penalty to Wales!

End-to-end stuff in the last few minutes of the first half - Wales surge upfield led by Mike Phillips.

The Wallabies spin left, and Chisholm is just a fraction short of the line before Wales cling on and win a penalty. They take it quickly - too quickly, and despite the cheers of the crowd they invite the pressure back on to them immediately.

Ashley-Cooper on the prowl on the right for Australia as the visitors kick up a gear.

O'Connor swills the gumshield around in his mouth before kicking - but it's not a good one - looping and high, and it falls on the try line short and just to the right of target.

Neck-high tackle from Shanklin on Genia - not his finest moment, but an error of execution rather than something malicious. Long-range kick for O'Connor, which he has opted to take on.

Better from Jones - over it goes! Wales cut the deficit to a single point! 6-7!

Wales lineout at five metres - looks to be lost again but referee Barnes has spotted foul play at the lineout from Chisholm and that will be a penalty for Jones to take on.

Lineout stolen and Pocock in possession for the Wallabies - but another turnover for Wales from Warburton swings the momentum back to the hosts.

By a whisker, O'Connor's ranging kick goes out on the full. That's good news for the Welsh, and we'll go all the way back into the Australian half, where Rees can take the lineout.

Another Wales scrum success and a penalty for the hosts. They're deep in their own half for now but the rest of the world will take note that the Australian scrum is simply not holding up at the moment.

Tempting crossfield kick from Cooper hangs in the air for O'Connor - but Williams competes well for it and Wales escape - and in fact, the referee spots a knock-on and we have a Wales scrum.

Great work from Jones to rectify a mistake - he chases down an errant kick and makes a telling tackle on Beale. But Australia win a penalty shortly after and they heave it deep into the Wales half.
