TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK
Sale Director of Rugby Alex Sanderson was understandably very proud of his team's performance when speaking to TNT Sports, even if that togetherness will break down later tonight.

SALE CONTINUE STATEMENT WINNING START
Sale battered their way to a statement 24-17 victory over Leicester, as Rob du Preez’s late try continued Tigers’ winless start to the Gallagher Premiership season.
That score and resulting conversion meant it was 14 points for the Sharks captain, but the real foundation for victory was laid by another dominant performance from the pack.
The biggest gap in the match was nine points and even that only lasted for a couple of minutes, but Sale just raised their game every time Leicester tried to peg them back.
After restoring parity ten minutes in, Sharks never again trailed thanks to a controlled performance that will please head coach Alex Sanderson plenty, his side is beginning to look extremely Saracens-like which should put the rest of the league on notice.
It wasn’t all muscle though, Raffi Quirke showed sharp thinking to release du Preez for the game-winning score and Arron Reed was an ever-present danger on the left wing, while ironically is was centre Sam Bedlow who secured the match-winning turnover.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH: ROB DU PREEZ
The Sale captain certainly led from the front...

SALE SURVIVE WOUNDED TIGERS
It may not look like it on the scoreboard, but that was a scintillating game. Momentum swung more than a fairground ride, but ultimately Sale came out on top with Rob du Preez's try in the last ten minutes proving the difference.
The predicted blockbuster arm wrestle in the forwards certainly wasn't overhyped, that was an absolutely brutal game and truthfully all 13 Sale forwards deserve a share of the man-of-the-match award.
Tigers were so much better than the depressed display they gave last week, but two losses from two is far from where Dan McKellar will want to be.

FULL TIME! LEICESTER 17-24 SALE
But Sale hold on! Hassell-Collins had his hands on the ball again but Bedlow was straight over the ball after the tackle and won the match-winning penalty! What a fantastic game.
80'+7
TIGERS IN STRIKING RANGE
This is so much better from Leicester, they're nearly up to Sale's 22 as Kelly finds Hassell-Collins with a perfect miss-pass.

TIGERS SCRUM
We've another Tigers scrum on halfway, after Sale soak up 19 phases of Leicester ball and effectively finish exactly where they started.
A late call-up to the bench, Conor Doherty is on for Arron Reed's HIA.
80'+2
ALL TO DO
Sale's linespeed is as inevitable as ever and Tigers have been pushed back to nearly their own 22.

NOT DONE YET
It's not over yet though! Liebenberg putting in the definitive leader's performance, finding space on the wing to bust his team up to halfway before Sale knock on in the tackle.
it's a Leicester scrum bang in the middle of the pitch. With two playmakers now on the field, there's tonnes of options here...

LAST SHOT
Leciester have the lineout, 70 metres out. It's all (actually, just a draw) or nothing now.

GAME IN THE BALANCE
Game... off? Sale have the ball, though that could change if Quirke's tackle on Kelly is adjudged to be high, it's right on the borderline.
Atkinson's on for fellow Tigers replacement Cokanasiga.
77'
OH SO CLOSE
Arron Reed had ghosted between Cokonoasiga and Hassell-Collins and looked set to skate in for the match-clinching score... But Kelly had other ideas.
He immediately makes up for his earlier error by not only hauling Reed down but forcing the knock-on too. And Tigers win a penalty from the resulting scrum too, game on!
75'
CRUCIAL DROP
Shillcock looked like he'd found the corner of Sale's defence and fired Kelly free, but the centre inexplicably couldn't hold on - Leicester's tenth handling error of the game with five mintues left.

TRY! LEICESTER 17-24 SALE
Scored by Rob du Preez, made by Quirke, the Sale half-backs were in perfect sync there.
The captain was put in acres of space by his nine there and had time to celebrate as he galloped over before getting back up to hit the conversion.

MORE SUBSTITUTIONS
While both sides take a breather - and they've more than earned it - Beaumont replaces Wiese in the Sale engine room and Whitecombe is on for Van Wyk and Leicester.

SALE HAVE IT
Neither side can put anything together at the moment! Leciester cough it up after just a couple of phases and it's Sale's turn to put boot to ball.
Roebuck hared after it with Liebenberg called up again to clear up, looking like a t-rex trying to gather a rugby ball. Two more turnovers later and Sale have it on halfway.

FIELD-FLIPPER!
Sale were back at it, but Liebenberg managed a huge rip and Shillcock needs no invitation to pump it down to the opposition 22 and win the lineout.
Forget 50-22, that's a 22-22! Sam Carter's on for his Premiership debut for Henderson, Hurd has replaced Heyes in Tigers' front-row.
