AND TIME EXPIRES….Scotland have got the win and while this is only a warm-up game you felt they really needed that given how the game progressed. Work for both teams to do before the World Cup though. Thanks for joining us.

TRY FOR SCOTLAND!!!! Jo Ansbro has surely won it for Scotland – and it was so simply – they worked it off a line-out from midfield and then shifted the play crisply and cleanly. De Luca found a nice angle and created space – he then played a great pass to Ansbro who changed direction well to go over for the five points.

Ronan nicks the line-out for Ireland and they then clear.

The ball comes out at the side and Ireland kick back to touch. They have earned a few yards but Scotland still have a line-out inside the Irish 22.
75'
Ireland tackle Gray in the air and Scotland have a penalty - they kick to the corner though - they are going for the win.
74'
Penalty for Scotland just inside the Irish half - Jackson kicks to the 22 line.

Direction is perfect from Sexton but it just runs out of gas before getting to the posts.

Ireland's front row forces Scotland to collapse. Penalty just inside the Scottish half about 10 metres in from the right – Sexton is going to have a go.

Laidlaw on for Lawson

Starting to see some signs that Ireland might be finishing this match a little stronger.

Cuthbert has to do very well to gather a Sexton kick right on the line inside the 22 before clearing.

BUT PATERSON MISSES IT….sums up Scotland's day.
67'
Scotland with a great chance to level matters as Ireland as McCarthy is charged without rolling away. 10 metres in from the right just outside the 22.

(3-6) Superb kick a bit to the left of the posts from Sexton. Ireland back in front.
64'
Scotland charged with not releasing near their own 40 metre line. Sexton has a chance to put Ireland back in front.
63'
Paterson lucky to escape with what looked to be a little knock-on deep inside his own 22.
62'
Scotland nick a line-out but the chance goes after an awful pass from Jackson. The Scottish fly-half has been very poor today it has to be said.
