TRY FOR SCOTLAND!!!! Jo Ansbro has surely won it for Scotland – and it was so simply – they worked it off a line-out from midfield and then shifted the play crisply and cleanly. De Luca found a nice angle and created space – he then played a great pass to Ansbro who changed direction well to go over for the five points.

Ronan nicks the line-out for Ireland and they then clear.

The ball comes out at the side and Ireland kick back to touch. They have earned a few yards but Scotland still have a line-out inside the Irish 22.

Ireland tackle Gray in the air and Scotland have a penalty - they kick to the corner though - they are going for the win.

Direction is perfect from Sexton but it just runs out of gas before getting to the posts.

Starting to see some signs that Ireland might be finishing this match a little stronger.

Cuthbert has to do very well to gather a Sexton kick right on the line inside the 22 before clearing.

BUT PATERSON MISSES IT….sums up Scotland's day.

Scotland with a great chance to level matters as Ireland as McCarthy is charged without rolling away. 10 metres in from the right just outside the 22.
